Hello. I am Charlene and I'd like to welcome you to my design studio. They say a creative mind would explode if it didn't have an outlet. That statement couldn't be more true! I had always dreamed of having my own business, but it wasn't until the birth of my first daughter that I really got serious about it. And now, I am so thankful that I am able to spend each day thinking, planning, sketching, creating and perfecting.
LITTLE BUGS BOUTIQUE began early in 2003 as a jewelry label designed exclusively for Sassy Little Girls and their Hip Mammas. I have over 25 years of architectural and graphic design experience, but I am a self-trained jewelry designer. If you know me well, you know that when I decide to do something, I totally immerse myself in it and learn EVERTHING. Over the years I have taught myself the ins and outs of jewelry design, starting a business, accounting, blogs, selling online, owning a retail shop and creating a website. The best part is that I've been able to do it all while raising my daughters (there are now 3) with limited time away from them. They truly are the inspiration behind all that I do, and although things started off slow, my business is growing right along with them.
Bitty Block was introduced to the marketplace in February of 2008 and it's popularity has just sky rocketed! We are now represented in 24 states nationwide and our retailer list just keeps growing! Each piece is handcrafted in our Pennsylvania studio using the finest materials. All other jewelry components are crafted with pure .925 sterling silver. Great care is taked in creating each individual piece and you will be proud to own a boutique jewel that was not mass-produced.
You can find Little Bugs Boutique jewels in select upscale boutiques throughout the US or select websites.
Paper has always been one of my greatest obsessions. Pretty packaging and coordinating stationery is somehting I swoon over. I am the one whose gift wrapping is perfectly aligned and adorned with accessories. I can't buy off-the-shelf invitations and matching thank-you notes for my girls birthday parties. I design it myself and it all coordinats with the theme of the party. And when others started asking me to "style" their parties, I knew it was time to add take things to the next level. I am not a scrapbooker, but I do like to create the bits . . . and just like that, Scrap Bits was born! You can find the entire Scrap Bits collection in my Etsy Shop (my goal this year is to start building a website dedicated to SB).
It is a busy time here at LBB and we are loving it!
